 Mag. Franz Krenn

Dogs have accompanied me in my whole life. I grew up together with my family’s first dog, a German Shepherd female, Jackie. My first own dog, a Siberian Husky male, arrived to us in 2003 and from this point I have got the ‘Husky Fever”.

Two years after his arriving, in 2005, I officially have got my FCI kennel name “Mystic Woodland’ and started to breed under it in 2007. I have kept a female from my first litter, April Sunshine of Mystic Woodland, and reached some nice results with her I am proud of: she is International Champion and Champion of Austria, Croatia and Slovenia. Since that dogs from my breeding have reached many Junior, Champion and International Champion titles all around Europe, and a few of them were successful at European and World Dog Shows as well, winning Puppy Eurodogwinner, vice Junior World Winner, placements from various classes, etc. Another highlight of my kennel was when I got the opportunity to represent Austria with Venus de Milo of Nordica at the Eukanuba World Challenge in Long Beach, California.

I have started to focus on judging in 2015 and I have became an official judge in 2016. Since that I added Akita, Alaskan Malamute, American Akita, Basenji, Samoyed, Shiba, Eurasier, Yakutian Laika, Canadian Eskimo Dog, Greenland Dog and of course Siberian Husky to my list of breeds. Next to my breeding and judging activities I am also the president of the Austrian Club for Nordic Breeds (ÖCNHS) and vice president of the Styrian Dog Sport Club (STHK).
